Wild West Brushworks started in 2017 with one simple aim: to make myself some really cool shaving brushes. I never planned on opening a shop, but the lathe turned out to be good company and the work became its own kind of therapy. I’ve always been a creative person, and brushmaking scratched that itch from the start.
In 2019 I hit a rough patch that set me back for a while. The community rallied around me in a way I’ll never forget, raising funds, restocking my shave den, and helping me get back on my feet. Their support carried me forward, and the shop is better than ever now.
Over the years I’ve kept more of my own brushes than I should, and somehow managed to send more than 3,500 of them out into the world. Now I’m proud to have my own storefront, with all the new challenges that come with it. The mission stays the same. I’ll keep crafting legendary brushes, offering honest value, and running this outfit with the same honor and integrity that got me here.
